Hunt Story
So, my brother killed a huge buck on Thanksgiving morning, and it was my turn to hunt with my dad that afternoon. It was hot and I just had not had any luck, so I didn't want to go. My dad finally talked me into it, though, and I am sooo glad that he did. We went to my favorite spot that we call the zombie blind. About 5:30 we had 4 does walk by one after the other. My dad told me to get ready because a buck was probably right behind them. The next deer turned out to be a doe, too. I was thinking it wasn't going to happen when my dad said, "There's a buck!" I let him get all the way to within 15 yards from us, and my dad said I had to shoot. I did and I smoked him! He ran about 40 yards and fell over. It was a 9-pointer and my first deer. It was awesome.
