Hunt Story
I saw this buck Saturday morning with a doe, and let him go trying to put some other hunters on him. No one saw him the next few hunts. I went back to the same stand Monday morning November 23rd, and he came out around 7:30. I checked him with my binoculars and could tell it was the same buck. He was on the move trotting through an oak flat headed into some mature pines. I couldn't let him walk again, so I flipped the safety and dropped the hammer. He stumbled about 4 or 5 steps and then piled up. He's a big-bodied mature buck with a lot of character.
