Hunt Story
I was hunting a road bed on 5-acre private property. Had found a couple of scrapes. It was about 7:30 am on a clear morning. I looked to my right and here HE comes—the deer that I had night pix on my trail cam. There were some small pines between me and HIM. I thought Lord you let him go behind those pines, and he will be mine. HE did and HE is! WOW! Money can't buy that kind of feeling. 20-yard heart lung shot with my crossbow. HE ran about 30 to 40 yards and crashed. I could see him from my stand biggest—deer I had ever harvested. All I could say was, Thank You Jesus!
