Hunt Story

I was sitting on a soybeans field one crisp morning when I noticed some does across the field. I watched them through the scope until I noticed a body coming across from the other side. As he got closer, I noticed that he was a really big deer, so I waited until he got close enough for a shot. He started chasing the does that had been out. He soon grew bored, and he started walking with his head down toward the corner of the field. I thought he was about to go into the woods, so I waited right up until he stopped, and I shot him right at 220 yards. I climbed down the tree and walked across the field. When I got down there, I was amazed at how big he was. I called dad and told him he might wanna see this. When he walked around the corner, he saw the deer and was amazed also. We hugged and he said how proud he was of me, and we loaded him up on the truck and headed to the house.
