Hunt Story
Didn't hunt my usual stand. Mild breeze blowing, once it calmed had four does and a spike come in and feeding on acorns. Watching the spike, caught movement to my right and heard a buck grunt. He crossed a lane and went into a thicket. The does turned and started moving away, and I was thinking the buck would move toward the does. However, he went the opposite way. He came into another lane, and I shot him broadside at 60 yards. He crashed after only 30 yards.
