Hunt Story
We went on a quick hunt that afternoon. Sitting with my dad Mike Poole in a two man ladder stand on a field, we saw a few does feeding, and right at dark we saw a buck come out on the edge for a few seconds, and then it went right back in the woods. My dad blew the grunt call, and we watched where he went back in for a few minutes. He didn't come back out, but we looked to our left, and my buck was trotting right to us. When he got to about 70 yards, he turned slightly, and my dad whistled to stop him. I made a perfect shot.
