Hunt Story
I was sitting in the best spot on the farm. It is a 1 1/2-acre food plot that has been planted every year since 2002. This plot along with the three smaller plots seems to attract and hold them in the area with better results every year. This buck stepped out at 7:08, only a few minutes of legal light left. The other does in the field (4) left as soon as they saw him. He made no effort to chase them, very relaxed, and started eating the planted greens. After a minute or two of sizing him up, I pulled the trigger at 175 yards. He dropped right there. Another great hunt at the farm!
