Hunt Story
Because I was running late getting on the stand, I decided to hunt a location closer to the house. I was a little discouraged because I had pictures of a big 10-point with a split brow tine at the other location. About 7:10, a 5-point buck buck walked out of a thicket on my left, crossed in front 30 yards, and entered another thicket to the right. About 10 minutes later a big buck walked out on the same trail. When I fired, it ran into the ticket on the right and crashed. When I went to retrieve the buck about 15 minutes later, I realized it was the same buck I had trail camera pictures of from the other stand location.
