Hunt Story
Erickson had never killed a buck. He has had plenty of chances at smaller bucks, but he choose to let them walk for a better deer. After 30 minutes in the ground blind, we watched a spike feed for a while in our food plot. It walked on off up a hill toward a bigger field. About 10 minutes after that we heard a deer coming from where the spike had went. I said, "Erickson, I bet it is that spike coming back." He peaked out the blind on his side and turned back to me and said, "Big Buck" and then "can I shoot it?" I said of course! The deer feed out to about 30 yards and turned sideways. Erickson put a perfect shot on the deer. It ran maybe 20 yards and piled up! We were both super pumped! Good job on waiting for your deer Erickson!
