Hunt Story

I arrived at the field about 4:30 pm and settled in my ground blind. I didn't have a good view of the road behind me (the road I walked in on), so I zipped up the back windows. About 6:00 pm two does walked into the food plot and started eating. After about 15 minutes another doe walked up behind me, she winded me but could not see me because I had zipped the back windows. She started to blow and stomp. The two does in the field alerted and ran to the far edge of the food plot (about 100 yards away). The doe behind me continued to blow and stomp searching for me while the other two scanned the field look as well. This continued for about 15 minutes, suddenly the does all glanced to the far edge of the field and a buck was walking in. Since the does were still on high alert, I took aim and shot the buck. I hit him through both lungs, he ran about 75 yards and crashed in a thicket.
