Hunt Story
I was hunting opening morning in Franklin County October 17th. I saw 3 does , a spike , and a 6-pointer earlier that morning. At about 9:45 the big buck came across the old cow pasture at about 175 yards out. I shot him twice with my .270 thinking I missed on the first shot. He fell just out of site. About a hour later my son helped me retrieve him. We took pictures and then took him to processor, and they weighed him at 205 live weight. Turned out to be a great opening morning of 2015 .
