Hunt Story
My son and I were hunting a 15-foot two-man stand he got from his grandfather last Christmas. We had not seen a deer all day until about 6:45 when we saw this deer feeding and working his way toward us. I picked up his gun and gave it to him, and he got a good rest on the shooting rail. And he started shaking bad. I had to calm him down. At one point he said you just shoot it. Then he said, no I got it. Sure wish I would have videoed. He got set up, the deer turned broadside at 40 yards and dropped in its tracks. I was so excited, I screamed you got him so loud his grandfather could hear us from his hunting stand. What a wonderful hunting season already!
