Hunt Story
I had planned to hunt a different food plot, but one of my club members wanted to hunt it. I told him to go ahead, and I went to this food plot (he only saw two yearlings). This buck was the only deer I saw that evening. He stood facing me and eating for 4 to 5 minutes before turning and giving me a good shot. I dropped him in his tracks with a hollow point bullet out of my Traditions .50 caliber muzzleloader. This is my first muzzleloader buck. I was hunting property (397 acres) that we leased from Plum Creek Timber Company.
