Lake Seminole Fishing Report – March 2025
GON Staff | February 26, 2025
Seminole: Level: Full at 77.5. Temp: 59 degrees. Clarity: The Flint River arm has a heavy stain, and the Chattahoochee River arm is muddy. Spring Creek remains clear.
Bass: Capt. Paul Tyre reports, “The bass fishing on Lake Seminole has been very productive through February. March is one of my favorite months to catch some of the biggest bass Lake Seminole has to offer. A variety of lures have been and will continue to produce through March. A swim jig, and one of my favorites is a 6th Sense Divine Braid swim jig in 5/16-oz. in the black/blue color. One feature that makes the 6th Sense Divine swim jig unique is the keeper that locks on your plastic trailer and allows you to pull the jig through the heaviest of cover with higher strength rods and braided line. The bass will be in their spawning areas, and a plastic worm is an excellent choice to catch bass in their spawning flats.”
Crappie: Capt. Paul Tyre reports, “The crappie fishing on Lake Seminole has been excellent. The crappie have moved into their spawning areas and are being caught on minnows and jigs.”
