Hunt Story
We have had this buck on camera for 3 years now. He has always been a cool buck with split G2s and some kickers but got much bigger this year. We agreed that if we couldn't catch up to him with a bow then he would hopefully make it another year but on the 2nd to last day of season he came out and gave my wife a shot at 20 yards. This was her first deer with a bow and also her first time in a climber. We made an aggressive move to some thicker woods next to a swamp where we had him on camera earlier that morning, so we speculated he was somewhere close bedding. We were both really excited especially for it to be such a big deer. We gave him several hours just to be sure and went back with some friends and family. It was a very exciting recovery and one we will remember forever.
