Hunt Story
It had been a slow morning. At about 9 am some does walked in and I shot at one of them. I thought the shot was good but did not know then that a limb had deflected the arrow. I chose to sit for a little longer before recovering the deer. At 9:30 a 10 point buck comes walking up from behind me. I draw when I think he is about to cross my shooting lane. Instead he turns and walks directly under me, while I am full draw. I hold it for what feels like minutes. He finally turns and crosses one of my lanes at 30 yards and I am able to make the shot.
