This big mature 8pt has been around since the summer. I had an encounter with him a week before but he came in right at dark and I chose not to shoot since it was low light. We finally got a W NW wind and me and my dad hunted the plot again. This time he showed a little earlier. I made a 90 yard shot and he went about 40 yards and piled up.
