Hunt Story
I’d been seeing this buck on my trail cam all season. He would come out during the night and seemed to have a favorite spot behind my ground blind where I have another camera. I sat in my dad’s stand one afternoon and as luck would have it, he was at my stand in broad daylight. After numerous hunts he finally slipped up the day before Thanksgiving right before it was dark. He worked a scrape where I couldn’t get a shot then came out and had his back end facing me. After taunting me for what felt like forever he finally turned broadside and I was able to get a shot while I still had enough daylight left.
