Hunt Story

Been watching this deer since bow season. He had a range of over 3/4s of a mile. He would come and go and leave our property to go to private non huntable property. I've only gotten him on cam 4 different times and never during daylight. I figured the rut was on maybe he will make his rounds back onto our property and that is exactly what happened. Saw him at 150 yards in a power line and within seconds he was right on top of me at 40 yards. Made the shot saw him kick and gave him an hour. After an hour of impatiently waiting I decided to go examine the shot shite. ZERO blood. I'm worried. So i started heading down the ravine in the direction he ran it wasn't until I was 40 yards down the ravine that blood starting showing up good. 40 more yards and there he laid at the base of a steep ravine. My patience, had work and perseverance finally paid off He is the unofficial 13th biggest typical buck killed in Cherokee county according to GON records on Cherokee county scoring unofficially 140.25 B&C inches net and 141.625 B&C inches net gross. He is a tall tined 10 point almost perfect symmetry and weighed 175lbs. Note if you contact me please use email. I am a little hearing disabled on phones. THank you
