My first encounter with this buck was Saturday morning. Clean miss at 250 yards. Sunday we caught him on camera at 2:44 pm so I knew he was fine. Monday morning I set up on a food plot on the edge of a travel corridor. Shortly after 8:00am I had a doe come through and go into the woods on my right. Moments later she came back out and this guy was following her. This time I had him at 40 yards and was able to make a solid shot. My wife Sandi left her stand to help me with the recovery. Quickly afterwards Sandi went and climbed the same stand where I had been sitting and around 11:30 she also killed a remarkable buck. Our first time to double up on bucks in the same day!
