Hunt Story
It’s November 16, 2024. I was hunting/camping with my dad, brother, and 2 of my cousins at Cedar Creek WMA. Both of my cousins had gotten 8 pts earlier in the hunt. I had only saw 1 doe so far by this last day of a 3 day hunt. It was a beautiful morning to be in the woods, about 45 degrees and wind still. It was just getting daylight and I saw 2 deer come over the hill. I saw it was a buck running a doe. I pull up my gun and watched him for a little bit, as he came to about 80 yards. I baaed at him and he stopped. I shot and he dropped right there! My dad got 2 doe this same morning so we went home with 5 deer! It was an awesome memorable hunt!
