Hunt Story
I've been hunting this deer all season. I spent hours scouting and cutting shooting lanes in the areas that we were getting pictures of him. The stand I was hunting had a food plot to the right and a long road to the left. My dad told me to focus on the road and check on the plot occasionally. At 7:30, a bunch of does and a 6-pointer crossed the road about 100 yards away. I grabbed my gun in case my target deer was with them. It wasn't long after the does and 6-pointer crossed that he stepped out, and I made a good shot dropping him in the road. This is my biggest buck ever, and the first deer I've killed hunting alone.
