Hunt Story
After a few trips to the Mike Commander shooting range, Caleb proved he was ready for the woods. His older brother killed a nice buck the day before, which helped motivate him to go after his first deer. Caleb and his Dad checked the wind and headed to the small food plot. A spike came out first, but Caleb said it looked too small and wanted to hold out for something bigger. When this 5-point came out and sparred with the spike, it was obvious that he was a much heavier deer and had better headgear too. Caleb decided that if a shot was presented, he would take it. After patiently waiting for a broadside shot, the deer turned and Caleb centered his .243 and made it count.
