We normally just see a lot of doe at this property in Walton county that my papaw owns. Today was different! When light came I actually saw a smaller buck and decided I would pass and wait to see what happens. A little later one of the normal doe came through. I was so surprised when this buck came across the creek and was sniffing the ground looking for her. I immediately knew he was big. I got my 350 legend up and was able to stop him right before he left the lane and made a perfect shot. He only ran 20 yds.
