My friend had seen this deer driving down the road October 17th. We gained access to a house nearby on the first attempt. Within 24 hours this deer showed up on cam. Between October 18th and November 6 I sat about 16 times and saw him over 10 times but couldn’t get him to come on my property. He disappeared for a few days Oct 23-26. I found out he was on another camera Oct 26th at 830pm 2 miles away and I had him on my camera Oct 27th at 530am. It was a waiting game to get him on my property. Nov 6th I made a last minute decision to go hunt at 3:45pm and at 530pm a doe come walking in. 10 minutes later I see him coming in and he came in and gave me a 12 yard shot facing me and I put a shot on him with the crossbow that dropped him in his tracks.
