Hunt Story
I have been watching this deer since July on camera, I’ve watched him grow and I have patterned him for months and finally caught him slipping this morning in the pre-rut. I knew when the rain let up this morning I would probably catch him and I got lucky and did! As proud as I am of this deer, the happiest part of the entire hunt to me was dragging the deer out of the woods together with my dad while my mom took pictures. At 33 years old, next to hunting with my children, hunting with dad while my mom takes the pictures will be some of the most cherished memories I’ll have while doing what I love. Hunting is more than the taking of the animal, it’s the love for our Creator and His creation, the outdoors, the animal, and the ones you cherish the memory with.
