We got to the stand at about 4:00. As soon as we settled in we had a few does come out feeding in the cow pasture behind us. At about five we saw a buck chasing some does but was in and out the field too quick to get a shot. At about 5:30 we had several does make their way to a large water oak in the field. Soon after out of nowhere he appeared. The buck walked straight away for about 50 yards toward the does before offering a broadside shot. Knocked him down at about 130 yards.
