I lost my father on my birthday this year. He left me his 742 Woodsmaster chambered in .308. I took it to the woods with me for the first time to try to kill a buck with it to honor my father. Had a spike come in and he kept looking behind him. He walked off and this buck came in and I decided to take him. I took a neck shot just like my father would have and dropped him in his tracks. I want to thank God for letting me honor my dad with killing this buck. I will remember this hunt the rest of my life.
