We have been watching this deer most of the summer and waiting on youth season to begin. Drake has hunted the deer since the opener and only seeing the buck a couple of times after shooting light. Drake got in the stand on Wednesday around 4 pm and waited on the buck. Around 6:15 a couple of deer including the buck made their way out of the food plot to the wood edge where Drake was sitting in his ladder stand. The buck was about 40 yards away when Drake shot and dropped the buck right there.
