Hunt Story
Me, my cousin, and my daddy were hunting and we stumbled across a big 4-pointer. I had my .243 and I was ready to shoot when he walked out. After I shot, we saw him go toward the pond but we couldn’t find any blood. We looked several directions toward where he ran for 20 minutes with no luck. Then we went in the opposite direction and saw him laying there. He had turned in the woods and didn’t start bleeding until he turned. I made a good lung shot. We were all excited to find him. Me and my cousin could barely drag him. I’m thankful to the Lord for letting us have a successful hunt. River H.
