Heading toward the suburbs with 91 degrees on the dash of the Jeep. I had my doubts of him coming in but something told me to go anyway. Very slow afternoon in the blind til 20 minutes before dark when four spikes came to feed on the 4S Roasted Raxx and that opened the flood gates. Four doe came in and ran the spikes off and then they keep staring up toward the blind. Knowing they weren’t looking at me I peaked out the side window of the blind he was 30 yards beside the blind where I can’t shoot. He slowly headed down the hill toward the 4S. When he got his first bite I let the arrow fly putting a double lung shot at 31 yards on him. After a short blood trail we had one heck of a drag straight up hill to get him out!
