Hunt Story
Opening weekend, Sunday afternoon, got in a stand about 3 30. I heard a soft grunt around 6:00, and I answered back. Brought in a young buck within 5 minutes, and 15 minutes later I grunted again very softly and I can hear something coming from behind me, and there he was the big wide 9. He came in on my right side and spotted me and took off up the hill, so I grunted very softly again and it came back immediately to my left, which gave me a perfect shot. With help of my family we found the buck without a blood trail. Apparently the Mechanicals went in so fast they didn't have time to expand so he bled internally 80 yards.
