We had a few rain showers moving through the area and I knew that if it stopped in time that the deer would be on their feet. Checked the wind to see where I wanted to hunt and decided on this spot because I knew there were a couple of pretty good deer using the area and the wind was perfect. Was quiet most of the evening and around 7:20 a young buck came out and I recognized him being one of the deer that was always with the deer I was wanting to shoot. Sure enough just a minute or two after the young deer stepped out I caught movement and confirmed it was the deer we were in there after. He came in and gave me a 20-yard shot and ran maybe 50 yards and piled up.
