Hunt Story
I walked in to the spot I wanted to set up at early in the afternoon at B.F. Grant WMA. When I got to the tree I wanted to hang my stand in on a ridge, I noticed a deer stand up 60 yards away from his bed. He had no idea I was there because I was behind him and downwind of him. I crouched down behind the nearest tree to try to see the size of the deer and whether it was a buck or doe. After confirming it was a legal buck I found a window to shoot as he was feeding down the hill and took the shot. He dropped on the spot.
