Hunt Story
After watching this deer all summer long, on one Thursday evening sitting in a tall pine tree he decided to make his first and only appearance. I have been after this deer since the season opened. That particular evening, I was sitting in the tree and had 9 deer out in front of me and it was about that time where I could no longer see then every deer stopped moving, picked their heads up and looked in the same direction. Seeing this, I could the ole 30-30 ready and waited, it didn't take long and he came busting out of the hardwood bottom nose down chasing the does away. He got into my shooting lane and stopped and the 30-30 cracked and down he dropped!
