Hunt Story
Took the week off and just so happened to time it up with a cold front. Hunted a different stand on October 31st and he came by a camera on a white oak tree 350 yards away pushing a doe heading into a thicket. On the morning of November 1st I decided to take the saddle and get on the edge of the thicket. Around 9:30 a.m. a doe came tearing out of the thicket with a spike close behind followed by this buck and another young 8. I failed to stop him 3 times and by that time he was almost all the way behind me. The 4th time I grunted he stopped at 50 yards and was able to pile him up.
