Hunt Story
Jeff and I woke up at around 5:20 a.m. and drove out to the hunting stand. We walked half a mile to the stand without scaring a single buck off. The buck was already out there waiting on the feeder to sling out corn. He scared off a few other bucks to eat the corn himself. We sat until daylight and when he turned his shoulder at the right angle, I took the shot. He ran straight out to the right of the plot, then 30 yards back to the left. We went to where I hit him, there was only light-colored blood on the ground, then we followed his hoof marks on the ground. He went into the slight brush, there he was on the ground. I hit him in the lungs and he had a hole all of the way through. He was super heavy with a big belly.
