Hunt Story
I was sitting in a climber overlooking a soybean food plot and was in the stand for approximately 90 minutes when the buck stepped out into a dim road behind the stand. He was watching a doe and yearling feeding on the edge of a cotton field. He stood in the road for several minutes with his attention focused on the feeding does. Once I determined he was a mature deer, I took the 100-yard shot which dropped the 280-pound buck in his tracks.
