Heavy rain at daylight. After the rain stopped the buck stepped out to check a hayfield for does. He stood still for 45 minutes before turning broadside. Took a 200-yard shot with my 45-70. Waited 2 hours to track him. After we found him we took him to Tiffany and Mr. Ronnie at Wallhanger Processing and Taxidermy.
