Hunt Story
I was hunting behind a bale of hay on a fence line between 12- and 7-acre fields of ryegrass and clover. There were does and young bucks all over the fields when this buck steps out on the far end of the 12-acre field. I watched him about 10 minutes and decided to take him. When I shot he was about 300 yards away. After I shot, deer went running everywhere. I noticed that the buck I shot was running across the field favoring his front leg. At about 350 yards I shot at him and dropped him.
