Hunt Story

At 10:10 a.m. I stand up facing the tree to stretch my legs, with a cigaret in my mouth, and I saw a movement to my right side. I turn to the right and I saw some movement of big antlers. I drop my jaw losing my cigaret from my mouth when I saw the big antlers he has. Really gently I set myself on the climber, and I grabbed the gun and watched into the scope and try to aim at the monster (because for me it was a monster), but I could see only part of the head and the horns, and I started shaking like a jelly. I have been watching him eat in that thickness for 20 minutess without having a shot. At 10:30 a.m. I lost him, and I start texting to my friend if he can wait a little bit longer in his stand for me to pick him up because I have a date with a buck. I been watching left and right for the deer but nothing happened, after 11:00 a.m. 15 yards farther the the previous spot I saw him, I saw the movement again, but just for a couple seconds. I stood in the stand till 11:30 a.m. and nothing. I slowly climb down with my climber, and I was walking slowly where I saw last time the buck with the wind in my face with the intention to find a new tree for my climber close to that thickness. At 11:40 a.m. I got to the place where I saw him the first time. I start walking really slow around that patch of thickness and I saw the horns again — he was bedding down close to the edge of the thickness. With my heart pumping like piston. I shot, the rest is history.
