Hunt Story

I was late getting into my stand, about 5:45, but wanted to watch the cutover in the afternoon before I went the next morning. Right away a 6-pointer came directly to the acorn tree that my stand was on. He was about 5 yards away and crunching loudly. I looked down toward the creek and saw a big rack moving above the weeds. After several minutes the deer came to an open spot about 200 yards and I saw it was a big-bodied, mature buck and decided to take him. Small problem, the 6-pointer was watching me now and I couldn't move to get in position to shoot. Several minutes go by and the big buck moves back into the brush. A couple more minutes and the 6-pointer leaves. Another couple minutes and I see the big buck again, this time at 150 yards. I checked him for size quickly and took the shot...
