Hunt Story
My big brother picked me up from school and told me the wind had finally switched, so we could go sit in a 2-man ladder stand on an pine/oak hillside where we had pictures of a real big buck at a week earlier. We got in the stand at around 4 in the afternoon and saw nothing but squirrels for the first hour. Just as it was starting to get hard to see, we hear foot steps coming from down in the bottom. Two does came out where we could see them but kept looking back, and my brother said get ready there has to be a buck behind them! About that time we hear footsteps and grunting and see horns, does scattered everywhere and the biggest buck I've ever seen came walking out and gave me a perfect shot! We were both high fiving and about to shake the stand down! It was a hunt neither one of us will ever forget
