Hunt Story

I went to the property to check my trail cams, and when I finished I had couple hours before dark so I decided to go sit in a ground blind to shoot some hogs I been getting on camera. Plus I had this 11-point a week and half earlier in velvet show up there one night. I crawled in the blind bout 6:30 and waited. Around 7 to 7:15, a boar hog showed up, so I shot him with my bow, and he ran around in circles couple minutes squealing trying get arrow out before he finally broke it and went over into the bushes. Had about 45 minutes left before dark, so I decided to keep sitting to see if I could kill another since I had several on camera. Well bout 7:50 p.m. I saw horns in the bushes coming my way and couldn't believe that it was the velvet deer from over a week ago slipping in. He had another 115-inch 8-point with him in full velvet. I had to watch him about 5-10 minutes before he offered me a shot at 25 yards. Thankfully I made a great shot on him and he only went about 30 yards and crashed.
