Hunt Story

My dad and I were running late and decided to hunt the powerline. We got settled in our ladder stand at 5:10, and at 6:15 I looked over and saw a big buck standing on the edge of the powerline. I asked my dad if it was a shooter, he started to put his binoculars up to take a look and didn't even get them up because he looked over and said that's a big buck, get ready. He passed over a bean bag to prop my gun on as the deer was standing about 175 yards away. I took a deep breath and pulled the trigger. I hit him and he arched his back and ran 10 yards and stopped. Dad said, get another shell and shoot him again, so I did and he dropped in his tracks.
