Hunt Story

Walked for about an hour got to my location, at about 3:40 p.m. hung my climber 20 yards from a good trail coming around the mountan. Had a lot of acorns dropping and a little feeding sign. Got settled in at about 4 p.m., and 15 or 20 minutes later three bucks came in feeding, and the big 9 got to 23 yards on the trail and got nervous, so I took the shot quartering to me. I hit him right behind the right shoulder, and the arrow exited in front of the left rear leg. The buck ran to 54 yards and stood forever it seemed like, so I let another arrow fly and hammered him. He hit the ground graveyard dead and rolled to the bottom of the hill. Then we started the long drag out.
